Thank you

From a small seed

What started as a goal back when I was 17 has now been achieved thanks to the support of my students, family and friends.

The pictures run top to bottom and show the progress of the build.

Dojo build now completed March 2007 and it's ready for hire. click on the picture to see the progress.

It was hard work and we had no idea about building, but that small detail wasn't going to stop us. We started ripping of the roof, before we knew what type of new roof we were putting back on. Always a good place to start! We had a few weeks of very cold and wet training, before we could start building a roof, after we had put in the new walls. Next came ideas for the floor, we finally settled on a sprung floor, comprising of wooden joists, 8'x4' sheets of caberboard and finished with interlocking rubber mats. Then the final task of building a set of Japanese sliding doors, a process that involved a lot of sweat and some swearing, but my vision was justified when I saw the completed doors put into place, they finished the project off completely. You can see the end results from the pictures, a result I'm sure you will agree was well worth the effort. If anyone wants more detailed information on how we went about building, please feel free to contact me.

Ninpo Taijutsu (ninjutsu)takes patience and perseverance... which just happens to be the meaning of the Japanese character "Nin"... as in Ninja and Ninjutsu.
